Lisa is probably best known as the Emmy® winning field producer and co-host of "Wildlife Journal" (PBS) where she explores New Hampshire's outdoor recreation, the state's wildlife resources and the flora and fauna that make this region a natural treasure. Though that's just the tip of this outdoor enthusiast's iceberg. She's as accomplished with a still camera as she is with the video, conducting photography workshops, where you can join her on real field work, preparing stories and photos for submission to an editor. An avid outdoors-person and adventurer, Lisa is both an editorial and a fine arts photographer with a sizeable stock photo file of flora, fauna, people, scenics, hiking, backpacking, adventure travel and myriad of other outdoor images. She specializes in capturing the natural environment, favoring dramatic lighting and color. Lisa contributes photography to magazines as diverse as Backpacker, Vermont Life and Ski Racing International. And, she's also a much-loved author, having written a number of popular books that encourage us all to hit the trail and make the most of the great outdoors. Her stunning photography is an added bonus to the books she has written.
Another side to Lisa's many talents is the award-winning photographs offered through her company, Densmore Designs, and featured in various galleries across the US. Oh. And, did we mention she's also an engaging public speaker and championship skier? Meet another LOWA Field Ambassador » |
